History was made in this community, a large battle actually took place here during the war of 1812. . See for yourself at the Battlefield House Museum, where the battle site is preserved with a museum, monument, and park.

On one side of Stoney Creek you have the city of Hamilton, while fruit growing and the Niagara wineries surround you on the other side.
